Overhead crane is a kind of bridge type crane whose crane span structure travels on the carrier track. Crane bridge travels longitudinally on the track laying on both sides of the elevated rail and the lifting trolley travels on the track laying on the bridge, which becomes a rectangular working range so that the room under the bridge can be made full use to lift articles and avoid blocking from ground equipment.

Customized Portable Gantry Crane:

Portable gantry cranes are used to lift and transport smaller items, usually less than 10 tons. They are widely used in the HVAC, machinery moving and fine art installation industries. Some portable gantry cranes are equipped with an enclosed track, while others use an I-beam, or other extruded shapes, for the running surface. Most workstation gantry cranes are intended to be stationary when loaded, and mobile when unloaded. Workstation Gantry Cranes can be outfitted with either a wire rope hoist or a lower capacity chain hoist.

An overhead gantry crane provides a cost-effective lifting solution for areas of infrequent lifts than a more permanent jib crane or overhead bridge crane. These portable cranes provide a heavy duty end frame design with square tubing uprights, knee braces and channel base which provide a very stable base. These portable bridge cranes have a factor of 15% of crane capacity for the hoist and trolley weight, with an additional 25% of the capacity allowed for impact.
